Jerry L. Starkey
Chief Executive Officer, Real Estate Partners International
 
     Mr. Starkey has spent thirty years in the Real Estate and related industries. Prior to founding Real Estate Partners International, he was Chief Executive Officer of WCI Communities, a company that he helped lead and grow over a twenty year period from less than $25 million in annual revenue to over $2.6 billion in annual revenue. WCI was recognized as America’s Best Builder in 2004 by Builder Magazine and The National Association of Homebuilders. WCI and its predecessor company, where Mr. Starkey also served as President, developed highly amenitized master planned communities serving primary, second home and active adult consumers. A leading developer of luxury and resort communities serving an affluent clientele, WCI was consistently a top ranked US homebuilder, community developer, and one of the country’s leading developers of luxury high rise condominiums. During his career, Mr. Starkey has acquired, entitled and developed tens of thousands of acres of land, created hundreds of subdivisions and communities, constructed over 40,000 single and multi-family homes including more than 65 luxury high rise condominium buildings. He has developed several luxury hotels and condominium hotels, developed and operated over 40 golf courses and country clubs, and developed a variety of deep water marinas and high and dry boat storage facilities. Under his direction, WCI also secured a Prudential Real Estate franchise and developed Prudential Florida Realty from a small start up enterprise to one of the highest volume and most profitable brokerages in North America with over two thousand agents in forty locations generating transaction volume in excess of $4 billion in 2005. Mr. Starkey has served as the principal executive officer of mortgage banking and title brokerage businesses, with annual transaction volumes in excess of $500 million, and as President of Aston Gardens, a developer and operator of independent and assisted living campuses.

     Mr. Starkey resides in Naples, Florida and is active in children and educational charities. He is a Trustee and Board member of The Naples Children and Education Foundation, which is the founder of the Naples Winter Wine Festival. He also serves on the Board of the Florida Justice Reform Institute and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.  Mr. Starkey served on the Board of Florida Gulf Coast University from 2001 through 2011 and was a member of the Florida Council of 100 from 2005 through 2010.  
 
 

F. Fred Pezeshkan
Chairman and CEO of Manhattan Construction Florida

     Fred Pezeshkan is a 30-year veteran of the real estate development and construction industry in Florida, and is Chairman and CEO of Manhattan Construction Florida, formerly Kraft Construction Company, Inc. In addition to his business career, he has a long career of community service and has helped to raise millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. He was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his support of education in Florida, the “Leadership in Fostering Education” award from Edison College, and is a member of the Junior Achievement Business Leadership Hall of Fame. He currently serves on the boards of Hope Hospice, Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida, Harry Chapin Food Bank and Sanibel Captiva Trust Company. In addition, he has co-chaired the American Heart Association Southwest Florida Heart Ball and the Community School of Naples Angel Ball. He is chairman emeritus of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Foundation Board, has co-chaired the Governor’s Family Literacy Celebration of Reading in Southwest Florida for 13 years, and previously served on boards of directors for Village Banc, Northern Trust Southeast Region Advisory Board, NCH Healthcare Foundation, and Ave Maria University Board of Regents. He has served as chairman of the Economic Development Council of Collier County and is a member of The Florida Council of 100. Fred graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in civil engineering. Fred is married to Stephanie and has two sons, Kourosh and Alexander; and two daughters, Karina and Sophia.
